Wine Lovers Academy

Piazza delle Cantine, 19, Greve, Italy

Coordinates: 43.5837364196777, 11.317156791687

Very nice place to have a wine tasting. 10 euros for 3 wines (tasting dose). There’s a possibility to buy any bottle of wine to try but you have to pay 5€ cork fee. It’s a good idea if you’re a larger group of people. The lady who talked about the wines was very good and very kind. I don’t know her name but she had glasses and short hair.

Via Fieschi, 74, Corniglia, Italy

Very good gelato! So yummy. And they have a few flavors that I’ve never seen before. Like basil&lemon, which can be weird for some people but for me it was really cool. There are regular flavors as well.

Calea Victoriei 48-50, sector 1, Bucharest, Romania

Coordinates: 44.4359016418457, 26.0980644226074

After seeing all the Instagram pictures it wasn’t what I expected. The actual space under the umbrellas was pretty and it was very quiet, very hidden. But when you get passed the umbrellas it’s not that pretty. I think it can be worth going but it’s not worth compromising other plans just to get there. Good thing it’s in the city center.

Mogoșoaia Palace

Intr. Martha Bibescu Nr. 3, Mogosoaia, Romania

Coordinates: 44.5276794433594, 25.9927139282227

I recommend visiting. It may not be the palace you expect but it’s beautiful, they have a nice little church there, they had exhibitions when I was there. They have a bar. It’s also near a big lake and there are lots of flowers, nice greenery. It’s great if you want to see something nice and relax at the same time. It’s really beautiful. Entry is free, but if you want to go in the actual palace (it’s pretty small) you have to pay. Cash only.

Beautiful library in the middle of Bucharest. It’s worth visiting even if you don’t buy anything but you’ll definitely find something. Their music collection is great and they have a great selection of books, not just in Romanian, you can also find a whole section of books in English.

Calea Bucuresti 1k, Balotesti, Romania

Coordinates: 44.6040954589844, 26.0848045349121

This is heaven 😂 I expected more actually mineral water pools or something but they have a great ray of different saunas and a indoors water park and a huge pool with jacuzzi sections that’s partly inside partly outside. They have a restaurant and bar and water massage beds and infrared and tropical rain forest rooms. Lots to do.

The best ride I’ve ever been on. It’s incredibly futuristic. The line was very long in the morning (almost 5 hours), but in the evening is not that bad.

The ice-cream is the best in the area! So many ways to customize your ice-cream. They are very generous with the toppings. For example, we wanted m&ms topping and because it would all fall of the cone they put a bunch of it in a cup and put the cone upside down on the candy. I highly recommend it!

Bar Gerveseria; Barcelona; Spain

Barcelona, Spain

Coordinates: 41.40469, 2.174203

Close to Sagrada Familia. It may not seam like much of a place to eat but we had a good time. The food is great. Prices aren't bad. They had a few offers for drinks, like champaign and beer.

La Paradeta Passeig de Gràcia

Carrer Consell de Cent 318, Barcelona, Spain

Coordinates: 41.3919, 2.16694

Great restaurant. Fresh seafood that you choose on the spot and they cook for you. It's self service. The prices aren't bad at all. Very good food. But I found the food very salty. I couldn't finish the fish soup for example. The lobster cream soup is perfect though. I recommend it anyway.

Kerið Crater, Iceland

Selfoss, Iceland

Coordinates: 63.9333, -21.0

This was our first stop on our Golden Circle self driving tour and it was amazing! It's a lake in a vulcans crater! It's beautiful, the surroundings are beautiful. You can hike down to the lake and take pictures all around. You can walk along the crater and look down at the lake from all angles. It's worth it and it's not a very long walk either. I'd say this is a must see.

Les Américains

Coordinates: 43.6055, 1.448778

It's not the cheapest restaurant but it's not over the top either. I ate there 3 times and it was delicious every time. They have the dish of the day, mussels with a lot of different toppings and fries and a full menu of good food. I especially liked the duck they have.
